Where are Sharpton, the Black Lives Matter movement and the other media whores now? Good job officer and may God bless and watch over you always. Too bad the POS wasn't permanently removed from the earth.

Lt Roy Smith-ret @ 12/19/2015 9:35 AM

Almost makes you want to have your sidearm out at each traffic stop. You just tell em, "by the way, do not do anything stupid".

Kermit & Lt.Roy, Sharpton & BLM are too busy riling up the low-lifes to be aware of this incident. Of course your hand should be on your sidearm anymore even if it's just a Welfare Check. Want to bet this POS has a history longer then your arm? Blues, Stay Safe.

God be with you with the added help of St. Michael. It will take considerable creativity by the BLM that I call "Black Lies Matter" to put a spin on these events. Sharpton's help will be needed for sure.

I wonder what Black Lies Matter will say about this one. They will probably say, why did you shoot the young black man, he only pulled a gun and shot at you. Good job officer, let's take back society. Any time you refer to that organization say Black Lies Matter. Let's make this a national thing.

John retired IA PD @ 1/7/2016 5:37 PM

I wish you a speedy recovery deputy Lester. Thank God that deputy Lester was able to return fire to save his life. Always be prepared for the unexpected. Blues stay safe. Blue Lives Matter.
