They shouldn't have to ask damn it, it should already be in the works. Maybe they could inform the City that with no protection it would be unwise to respond to shots fired in City Hall. Or in any place where the purse strings are held. Why don't these City managers realize that the Police protect everybody, not just the "royalty". Blues, Stay Safe.

Does anyone else remember a time when you could feel safe in your community?

A time when the policemen were honored symbols of community standards?

A time when violent people were bad and faced the charges, and those who captured them went on to keep up the good work?

A time when violence against our peacekeepers shocked our conscious?

A time when rioters were the bad guys, and people who disrupted other peoples peaceful assembly were considered intrusions?

Well, those times were called, "the Cold War."

I sure miss those days.
