Now anytime a B/M is arrested and bleeds we have to have a congressional hearing or what? This is way out of hand. Why can't these politicians just shut the hell up other then to say, let the investigation bring out the facts and then comment? Im sick and tired of these race baiting vote getting pigs who are such tricking whores!. Do they have any sense? When someones head strikes the pavement, someone face strikes the pavement, they bleed like they are dying, its not at all unusual. Have these idiots ever had a head or face injury while playing hockey? FootBall? etc? or ever in their lives gotten in a fight? Oh now I get it the answer is NO they never have since they are over educated, non physical idiots who have been pampered their entire lives and think they know everything! I would use the word that is used to describe a cat here, but I wont!. LEOs need to all just strike ALL of us and let the libs and pols "protect" the public for a change.

POLICE AND MEDICAL PERSONELL KNOW THAT HEAD INJURES, HOWEVER SLIGHT CAUSE MASSIVE BLEEDING. DON'T LET THE PICS OF THIS INDIVIDUAL WITH BLOOD ON HIS FACE DETER YOU FROM THE FACTS OF THE CASE.

Most politicians attach themselves to issues that will get them the most recognition/votes. They have no clue about reality. Actually, reality to them is votes and money in their pockets. When a LEO tells people to do something, they need to just do it. Otherwise, they might bleed a bit.

If you resist arrest you may get hurt. Do not resist it is as simple as that... If you feel it is unlawful the place to fight is in the COURTROOM not on the street or in a bar. I do not see any video of the whole incident like is usual in these type cases!!! Any one who has worked a traffic accident knows head injuries bleed the most... I wonder how old this HONOR student was and what was his BAL... too many questions!!!

Richard, you are exactly right, but you forgot to add one thing. A cut on a head after a night of boozing, now that REALLY bleeds. Sad, I heard today that there is talk about taking the arrest powers away from the all Va. ABC officers following this incident. Hey Libs and coward politicians, you better be careful what you ask for...........

Next time there is a problem citizens should call the governor. He could respond and talk the intoxicated, honor student into behaving appropriately !
Because we all know that an intoxicated, HONOR STUDENT would listen to reason. Governor why don t you stick to what you know best, attending garden tea parties, patting babies on the head, posing for pictures and posturing yourself for re- election!

Everyone who has ever had to use force during an arrest knows that the outcome is rarely pretty. I know its been said before, but if you put yourself into an encounter with any law enforcement officials, comply with their LAWFUL orders. You won't get hurt and will be in less trouble. Preaching to the choir here I know since none of the people we're speaking of are reading this website anyway.

You can clearly see that in the video the officers are attempting to handcuff him and the suspect is resisting.
