Kentucky Officer Buys Baby Formula for Desperate Shoplifter

"As a police officer, it's not black and white for us," said Officer Justin Roby. "There's a lot of gray. And you have to cipher through everything and you really need to figure out the whole story." More Here.

This was a kind act on the officers part. My cynical side thought maybe he was duped. People steal formula all the time to resell (fence) to a local mom and pop store for pennies on the dollar, they steal things (baby diapers, formula etc.) and tell tales that tear at your heart strings in hopes to be let go. Hopefully the officer was able to verify the fathers story. Hopefully the father is able to get help with his child's care. I have been duped before and it hurts the one's who really need help, because I am so cynical.
