Fort Worth Officer Stabbed, Suspect Shot and Killed at Traffic Stop


The officer pulled over a vehicle in the 1700 block of Northeast 36th Street at about 4 a.m., and a fight began between the suspect, who was alone, and the officer, police said. During the fight, the man stabbed the officer multiple times in the leg, and the officer shot him, police said.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have to applaud the training and restraint I have witnessed in all the reports I have viewed from the Police on Target site. Yes suspects have been shot and killed but only after all other measures to gain compliance have failed. I am glad that the Ft. Worth Officer is going to be okay. I am sorry that the suspect would not cooperate and ended up with the death penalty immediately applied. Get better quick. The force needs you out there. Stay safe brothers and sisters in blue.
