Officer Delivers Groceries to Grandma Caught Stealing Eggs

On Wednesday, Tarrant (Ala.) PD police delivered two truckloads of groceries to Helen Johnson, who on Saturday was caught stealing five eggs from the store to feed her hungry family. Instead of arresting Johnson, Officer William Stacy bought her a carton of eggs and sent her home with the promise she'd never shoplift again. More Here.

What a true spirit of service Officer Stacy I am proud to have a fellow officer with the class and judgement to understand the "intent of law vs the letter of the law. Your community is truly blessed to have you protecting and serving them. I know that there are many many acts just like this that are never heard of in the media by outstanding officers just like Officer Stacy all over our country They are done out of true care for others and not for publicity but we needed this story and others like it in the worst way at this time.
