Every person on the Mayors security detail should put in for a transfer all at the same time or they have no guts or fellowship with the remaining officers of the NYPD. Then let the Mayor relay on cops forced to be transferred to his detail and just hope that a black male subject never trys to harm the mayor, if the cops are at all politically correct they would never shoot the person for fear the Mayor would turn on them to! Let him know whats it like to NOT have someone watch his back since he certainally does not have the backs of the NYPD. I feel sorry for the Commissioner, a good man and a great cop, but he should turn in his resignation as support for his officers, stand up and refuse to work for this scum of a Mayor. Then when they look for a new Commissioner, no other big city chief should even apply, then perhaps the Mayor will see the big picture. Obviously I know none of this will happen since Chiefs are for the most part puppets anyway & only out for the fame and $!

Well, he got the respect he deserved.

I've served under a gutless, morally corrupt sheriff who put his political career over his men's safety and morale. This schmuck brings back those memories: "Hundreds of Police Turn Their Backs on NYC Mayor DeBlasio at Slain Cop’s Funeral" @
