Two future Officers there. Great to see that kind of humanity & love for L.E.

It is wonderful to wee these two young boys doing all they can not only for their dad but for the officers in general. My question why did the department not provide these plates. Why did their city budget not include this protection for them since they protect the citizens of Indianappolis.

Vests come with an additional soft trauma plate for the front. Mine always have. ABA, point blank, safariland, etc...all do. Those ceramic plates are very thick. I hope the officers use them. It was a very nice gesture on the boys part to do this!

I looked at those ceramic plates when I ordered my new one and didn't get one due to thickness. I instead chose to use the provided soft trauma plate along with a previous steel and soft plate (steel plate is in between the 2 soft plates all 3a rated) for a total of 3 in front and 1 soft in the back.

The 3 in front do not equal the thickness of those ceramic plates and works for me with my 3a vest.

I know at one time there was a promo going for officers to get a ceramic plate free when they order a new vest and turn in there old one as credit for the plate. I believe it was Protech? which is Point Blank I believe.
