Police Adviser Appears on PBS to Discuss Ferguson, NYPD Incidents

Retired LAPD captain and Police Advisory Board Member Greg Meyer appeared on "PBS NewsHour" earlier this week to discuss the Ferguson, Mo., shooting and the NYPD choke hold incidents. Meyer was called to appear on the show because of his experience investigating and testifying about officer use of force.

That was not a choke hold. They should bring back some instructors to show what a choke hold is so the cops know what not to use. Let's develop a stun device that scans the recipients body mass and sets the amount of force to be used to incapacitate the person long enough to be secured. Lets spend whatever it takes to protect the person who will not comply with the police lawful direction. We put men in space, this should be an easy fix. While we are at it perhaps we can find a kind way to execute murderers with no pain or stress. I am with the Captain, we are a nation of law. I bet LAPD misses him.
