A taser would not have worked on that man. 6'4" 340 lbs he would have said it tickles. Way to hang in there officer. Got real bad man off the street, good job.

A little stick time would have helped in this arrest.

I am not a LEO, but a truck driver. First I would like to say good job to the officer and his fellow officers for a job well done. I hope the officer makes a full recovery. Secondly, I would much rather have had the officer kill him, then wound him. In my opinion anyone who would try to kill an LEO deserves to die, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I have been reading where LEO's are attacked, ambushed, and killed. When will this stop? I have the utmost respect for anyone wearing a badge, be it the security officer at a wearhouse I deliver to or the patrolman on the street who I share the roadways with. What is wrong with the public in today's society? Everyone wants the police to act in a more professional manner and use more non lethal ways to make arrests. Not me!!! If you feel the need to shoot a perp, then by all means shoot him. I would feel better as a private citizen knowing there are officers out there who are willing to use deadly force to deal with these criminals. Keep up the good work!!
