Thirty-five-year-old Jeffrey Bugai is being held in San Francisco County Jail, facing felony charges, including kidnapping with the intent to commit sexual assaults.

Police told KTVU TV the security guard impersonated a police officer and preyed upon at least two Central American immigrant men.

"Saying that he was a police officer and then taking them to his residence where he would commit sexual assaults on the victims," said San Francisco Police Department spokesman Officer Albie Esparza.  "There were some handcuffs that were involved and he would threaten the victim that if he were to contact police, there would be retaliation and or deportation."

The two cases date back to 2008, though police are asking other possible victims to come forward. Investigators say Bugai drove an unmarked Crown Victoria, similar to those used by real police officers.
