Dallas Officers Shoot, Kill Man Armed With Screwdriver


A 38-year-old man was shot and killed in the doorway of his mother's home Saturday morning by two Dallas police officers responding to a 911 call.

According to the police department, Jason Harrison, who suffered from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, threatened the officers with a screwdriver. Read Full Story Here

First question if he is off his meds. Why did she no have him committed for fear of injuring himself or others. Second who did she think would show up when she called 911 and they ask you what the problem is and who you need. Third I am sorry he was shot but I have dealt with the same kind of thing a lot at the VAMC's and we have taken hundreds if not thousands of weapons away before someone threatens us with them.
