Michigan Trooper's Dashcam Captures Deadly Head-On Crash


Michigan State Police say last Tuesday night, 29-year-old Jeremy Smeltzer was speeding the wrong way on US-131 near the I-94 interchange. His truck crashed head-on into a car and Smeltzer and the driver of the other vehicle--21-year-old Jaryd Ford--were killed. Read Full Story Here.

That is a terrible loss of life and I will bet that the pickup driver was under the influence. you just don't ignore MSP lights like that unless you are really blitzed or wanted.

Very sad. The crash was so violent you can see the debris from both vehicles spray all over the patrol car from the impact.

To find the video click on "Patrol" on the above ribbon and then on "News". Go to April 24, 2014 where the video for this story is located and you can click on the video there. There are always two separate story locations when video is involved. One will be at the "Patrol/NEWS' and one will be in "VIDEO/Patrol". I have no idea why but that is how it is set up on here.
