I could hear the sound of a helicopter and later gunfire but nothing else. Normally there are repeated commands to the suspect to drop the weapon or some other attempt to defuse the situation prior to using deadly force (time permitting). Am I missing something here?

Why wasn't the TASER used? I know it's a rough call, but others were there for backup with the pistols. Hum? I could tell from her facial expression and slow body movement, she was committing suicide. She had a look of disappointment after showing the pistol and no shots were fired.
