Officer Shooting Mentally Ill Man Caught on Camera


Footage from a neighbor's surveillance camera appears to show a Dallas PD officer shooting an unarmed, stationary mentally ill man. The officer had said the man advanced toward him while raising a knife.

Wasn't justified? Almost every single mass shooting (and mass stabbing at a high schoola a few weeks ago) was done by and agrivated mentally ill person. I think they took the right action and took precaution, who knows what he could have done. As a police officers, you don't have time to think, you can only act. And action is always faster than reaction. If they would have just stayed their waiting for him to make a move, I could have been too late.
