UC Santa Cruz is virtually a caricature of leftist, America-hating, dope-smoking, anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist dirtbags. The students routinely grow marijuana in the dormitories and the nearby fields. (The campus has a lot of open ground and forest within it.) There is at least one major annual "stoned" day when there are various marijuana-related smoke-ins and other recreation. UCSC is on high ground overlooking Santa Cruz, and is known locally as "Moscow on the Hill."

Listen carefully to the video and you can hear students threatening the officers, saying they'll sue them and "I'm gonna totally take you to court." These threats in response to the officers seizing a reefer the size of a major league baseball bat.

But I find myself wondering: "Two pounds of marijuana! Where do the students get money to buy two pounds of grass?"

Left-tards "anti-Semitic"? Zionism and Communism spring from the same roots. Check your history. But, seriously, marijuana? Not worth the manpower. It turns people into complete idiots, but it's not worth the manpower. Concentrate on meth, cocaine and heroin. Nobody's killing and robbing for money to score more weed. Alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana overall.

I don’t think the whole 3 officers and a sergeant wiped out all of the resources for the UCSC PD. Should they have just turned a blind eye to it and let the antics from smoking that massive bubonic chronic prevail? I guess Corporal T.E. didn’t earn those corporal stripes from making dope arrests. .I hope his department has regular mandatory drug testing. Well done officers! I’m glad you didn’t hit the hippie over the head with that bat of a joint for his lip.

The question of where they got the money to buy the grass- Student loan money. They get it put into thier accounts and spend it on anything. Most likely will default on the loans later making taxpayers pick up the tab.

The war on drugs have been a failure since Nixon declared war on it....weed...who cares, let's focus on meth, crack and hard drugs. Let's face it, many states are making it legal and profiting off weed.

When will California just fall into the ocean? I see nothing wrong with a little weed, but these kids are complete morons thanks to their liberal "professors" and the dominant liberal establishment mass media.
