What the hell happened to the end of the video?

Capt David-Ret LA County @ 2/19/2013 5:04 PM

Great control of transmitting..level headed...good reporting of pursuit....splicing would have been nice....why not cap a few more rounds when he is breaking in??....and what happened to the end??

Sgt. E. Peck @ 2/19/2013 8:41 PM

Police Magazine, Please get us the rest of the video! This is an outstanding training video.

Excellent training on how to stay calm during a pursuit and giving updates along the way.

TERRY F. ZECH @ 2/20/2013 4:59 AM

Good driving and will listen to it when I get home no audio at work.

Juan 10-13 @ 2/20/2013 5:16 AM

Excellent training video. Congrats to the Officers. But come on what happened to the rest of the footage! Please follow up with the full video. All LEOs can benefit from this tape.

Best video I've seen as far as emotional control, etc. To Capt David, who's in the house? How far will rounds penetrate? The distance between the officer and suspect looked substantial. You need to take these into consideration before you "cap a few more rounds" as the suspect is outside the truck and the house!

Craig @ 2/20/2013 7:04 AM

Are we going to see the outcome on this pursuit????

Clint @ 2/20/2013 7:18 AM

No PD is going to publicly post the actual video of a fatal shooting. The family of the suspect would sue for "pain and suffering" from having to watch it, so they cut it off right before the end on purpose. Too bad though.

Sgt Scott @ 2/20/2013 7:33 AM

Great video! Man was I pumped and the plug was pulled on the video. This would make a great training video for all. The perheriphel of the camera makes it farther than it is being mono vision. A full version of this would be great for all LEO

18 min of my life I cant get back, Show the whole thing to resolution, not 6 min of distant conversation and 4 min of straight line pursuit.

K9 Officer Sciaretta @ 2/26/2013 8:11 PM

Excellent composer and radio transmission. I can only assume that the officers took cover and retrieved long guns. What happened to home owner and suspect?
