I heard '8' "put it down"s. probably enough times if there was a perceived threat to his life or his partners.

Looks like a justifiable shooting in all respects. Armed suspect refusing to lower his weapon and advancing on Officers. They gave him every chance in the world. They even were so disciplined that only one shot was fired. Unfortunately the suspect expired from his wound. Hope the Officer that was forced to kill him is going to be okay. No matter what the circumstances, no Officer wants to take a life.

Glad the Officers were not harmed and am VERY impressed with the reporting of events in a unbiased and intellegent manner. Wish all the Media followed this reporters lead.
