A 19-year-old man who made menacing gestures after a vehicle pursuit was fatally shot by LAPD officers late Wednesday along the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills.

It surprises me that this and other coverage don't even mention Abdul's name, or the ironic fact that he been a Police Explorer and hoped to get into the LAPD.

The news will display a photo of him when he was 11, his parents will claim he was profiled, they will claim when he turned around and pointed a cell phone at them he was trying to tell them, 'this call is for you' but they executed him because he was a different skin color.
