Looks like the police officer got a little carried away with his importance. Would like to know what was happening before the police officer assaulted the person with the camera. Police have car cameras to record events. Why not the citizens especially if the police are on their property.

Metro was in the area on a Burglary call. As you can hear, when the officer asked if the man filming lived at that residence, he initially said "no". That is when the officer stepped out, and approached the man. If they were there for a burglary, that guy could have very well been a 'scout' or a lookout. You can tell he is egging the officer on...he knew exactly what he was doing.

If you read up on this guy filming, he's known for this type of thing. He's trying to get his 15 minutes, while making cops who are responding properly, look bad.

If the d-bag wouldn't have lied to the cop at the beginning he could have saved himself, and the rest of us, from crying and screaming like a baby!!! Sorry about your luck jackass, but maybe next time you'll have some respect for the men and women who protect you so you can have "your right" to be a complete moron!! At the end of the day, all they want to do is go home to their families and not end up in a morgue!

Nick Greco @ 4/28/2011 7:32 PM

In the process of active investigation and a guy who lie about where he lives and then fights. Yup bad move, you should have done what you were told. Nice job fella's, you were justified.

Just one bit of cooperation by the camera operator could have saved him a lot of pain and anguish. With it being a potential burglary situation the officer had every right to shut the video and the idiot down which he did.

LVMC @ 12/15/2011 12:04 AM

How do you know HE LIED? COP WAS FIRED. So, your wrong. So, cops have special powers that can tell if someone is lying? COP IS fired and sued. Suck on that PIGS. And people are filming the fuck out of your "profession" BTW. backFIRED
