Where the heck is their backup to keep these gangbangers away?!?!
Look around that scene again; do you see any other cops?

Get this straight; McCarthy is there from New York as Mayor Rahms Hatchetman to run the Chicago Police Department on the cheap. Both have acted disgracefully and dishonorably and have trashed the safety of the citizens and the officers. All they care about is lowering the cost of running the CPD and lower the city's pension liability. Less cops = less costs and less pension liability so more money to spend on their pet projects.

Ask either Rahm or McCarthy a simple math question, A - B = C.
A is how many sworn officer were on the CPD when you started?
B is how many are there today?
C figure the difference (but we are still paying taxes for A and more)

You will not get a straight answer from either one of them.
Stay safe.

It's no wonder that Chicago had over 500 murders last year. Insteado fsupporting the police who make proactive stops of gang members, they want to fire them! The scene looks far from controlled with a mob of gang members talking shit to two outnumbered patrol officers.

What are morons who have no idea on how to construct a readable statement allowed to comment on a police page?

Johnlaw @ 4/26/2013 6:59 AM

No back-up...unruly mob shouting gang slogans...CPD Brass taking a street video from Latin Kings as credible...Priceless....makes ya want to let the kid go and give a 19p and go to lunch....no wonder CPD is embattled and there are shootings galore...how many guns were in that crowd of street thugs... Thats a 10-1 for sure...

I must have missed something, the Cops were out numbered twenty to one and still kept their cool. What are the Bosses thinking?

OldHawg @ 4/29/2013 3:42 PM

Unlawful detention? He's a gangbanger. He wasn't under arrest. There weren't even any handcuffs on him. So what was unlawful?
