The new Collision Reporting tool from Appriss was developed to help law enforcement agencies determine traffic trouble spots so they can be eliminated or their toll can be mitigated. User Col. Steve Wagner, chief deputy of the Hendricks County (Ind.) Sheriff’s Office, says the software has “vastly improved” the agency’s ability to collect, submit, and analyze crash data.

Digital Ally's Laser Ally LIDAR offers long range and battery life, as well as anti-jamming technology. The lightweight Laser Ally pinpoints individual vehicles in various conditions, including through vehicle windows, bad weather, or congested traffic. The system can also track through obstacles and acquires targets in three-tenths of a second. Laser Ally is ruggedized for heavy use and waterproof for harsh environmental conditions. It features a floating internal structure to maintain accuracy. The gun's body is composed of a polycarbonate ABS blend for strength and chemical resistance.

Ford's E-250 van allows Toledo Police officers to arrest groups of disorderly people and transport them to a city holding cell.

Ohio Agency's Ford Police Wagon

The Toledo (Ohio) Police Department has purchased seven Ford E-150 and five Ford E-250 vans to outfit for crime-scene investigations and special event response.
