A recently released video shows an NFL player in a violent struggle with a Michigan police officer in an incident that took place in February.
According to Fox News, the video shows defensive tackle Malik McDowell refused to comply with the officer's commands to comply and lie prone on the floor of a convenience store.
The former Michigan State defensive tackle was pulled over after authorities reportedly witnessed his jeep spinning out while speeding.
Other officers arrived on scene and helped put McDowell into custody.
McDowell was reportedly charged with two counts of felony assault and resisting arrest, one misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.
