Five Calif. Officers Injured when Helicopters Collide

Two Pasadena (Calif.) Police helicopters collided Saturday afternoon, causing injuries to five officers and a civilian observer at the agency's air operations bureau.

Two Pasadena (Calif.) Police helicopters collided Saturday afternoon, causing injuries to five officers and a civilian observer at the agency's air operations bureau.

The helicopters touched rotors and collided while one was taking off and the second was landing, according to preliminary investigative findings reported by the Pasadena Star News.

The injuries were minor and the officers were treated and released Sunday.
