Two Technologies, Inc. has introduced the HGP-3 rugged and fully integrated thermal printer for its Hydrus and Handgear hand-held computers, according to the company.

The new IP65 three-inch printer is drop tested to MIL-STD 810G 516.4 Method IV Shock. The printer is designed for demanding data collection applications that require a receipt or a report to be generated on the spot. It's designed for parking enforcement, e-citations, freight delivery, meter reading and inspections.

The HGP-3 integrated thermal printer uses a one-step paper-loading method that's designed for easy paper replacement on the go. A unique hidden true-blade system cuts polyvinyl paper that's pre-perforated for variable lengths. The print speed is 50mm per second at a resolution of 203 dots per inch. The HGP-3 carries a three year warranty.
