La. Deputy Dies In Crash

A Vernon Parish (La.) Sheriff's Office deputy was killed Monday when his cruiser left the roadway and ejected him. Deputy Steven Netherland, a retired state trooper, was pronounced dead shortly after the 7 a.m. crash.
