Four men entered Marie's Pizza at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. One pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the owner, who was talking with the deputy. After a struggle began between the owner and gunman, the deputy grabbed the owner's gun and shot the suspect.

Survivalist Shot by Officers, After Five-Day Manhunt

Aaron Bassler, 35, was shot seven times in the chest, by tactical officers from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, as he held a Norinco SKS rifle. The deputies located Bassler at 12:35 p.m. There was a round in the chamber, the rifle was in the fire position, and Bassler's finger was extended alongside the trigger.

Officer Jeff Everetts required staples in his head, following the crash at 11:15 p.m. while he conducted a traffic stop. A 23-year-old Green Bay woman was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor operating while intoxicated.

ACLU Questions Oakland's Body Camera Policy In Fatal Shooting

The officer's Vievu on-body camera, which is about the size of a pager, captured the Sept. 25 shooting in East Oakland. The officer fatally shot the suspect, who had a gun and drugs, after a foot pursuit and struggle.

Grand Jury Indicts 17 NYPD Officers, 5 Civilians In Ticket-Fixing Probe

The charges range from official misconduct to grand larceny, and stem from a two-year investigation by the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau. The grand jury has been reviewing the evidence for six months. Ten union officials, mostly from the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, are expected to face indictments.
