Ariz. Fugitive Surrenders After 10-Hour Standoff

A 10-hour standoff between Pima County (Ariz.) Sheriff's SWAT officers and a wanted fugitive at a southern Tucson hotel room ended with the suspect surrendering. An attempt by two bail bondsmen to arrest him triggered the standoff.

The grandson of Hollywood icon Clark Gable has been arrested for allegedly pointing a laser at a police helicopter. The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Clark Gable III, who has been charged with a felony count of discharging a laser.

Earlier today, officers began negotiating with Luis Felix, 22. Deputies had arrived at the hotel at 2:11 a.m., after a shots-fired call. Felix apparently fired on two bail bondsmen who had attempted to take him into custody.
