Safariland announced today the introduction of its MOLLE Locking System and Quick Locking System for law enforcement, SWAT, military and personal protection applications. The two new locking systems allow users to quickly mount, reposition and remove many Safariland holsters or accessories to belts or MOLLE loop-equipped apparel.

A 20-year Corpus Christi Police Department veteran likely was setting out spikes to flatten the tires of a fleeing vehicle when it struck and killed him early Wednesday, police said. Patrol Lt. Stuart Alexander was hit by an SUV about 12:10 a.m. in a grassy median along North Padre Island Drive between Bates and Agnes streets.

Police Identify Bodies Found in New Mexico Desert

On Wednesday, police released the names of Cinnamon Elks and Julie Nieto. Nieto was the sixth victim found on the mesa near 118th and Dennis Chavez SW; Elks was the eighth. The Office of the Medical Investigator used dental and medical records to identify the women's remains.
