A Westfield (Mass.) Police officer died early Thursday after he was struck by a dump truck while directing traffic at a construction site. Officer Jose Torres, a 27-year veteran, succumbed to injuries he sustained in the accident at 44 Pontoosic Road.

Washington State Patrol Replacing Crown Vics With Caprice PPV

The Washington State Patrol has begun the process of replacing 650 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors with the Chevrolet Caprice PPV. The agency has just begun the process and currently has five Caprice PPV sedans in the fleet.
