Detroit Officer's Killer Convicted

Jason Gibson has been convicted of fatally shooting Detroit Police Officer Brian Huff, following an 18-day trial that included 447 pieces of evidence. A Wayne County jury deliberated for about three hours, and then announced guilty verdicts on all 17 counts against the 26-year-old.

Kevin Randleman has been charged with aggravated murder, having a weapon under disability, a concealed carry violation, and two specifications — that the victim was an on-duty police officer and a gun was used in the commission of the crime.

Reward Reaches $50,000 for Georgia Cop's Killer

Senior Police Officer Elmer "Buddy" Christian was killed, and Senior Police Officer Tony Howard was wounded. Apparently, Hood shot Howard before he could exit the patrol car, and then ran. Christian pursued Hood, who then shot him through the window of the cruiser.
