3 Colo. Officers on Paid Leave for Elk Shooting

Two Boulder (Colo.) Police officers and a Boulder County Sheriff's deputy have been placed on paid leave for allegedly shooting an elk and failing to notify the agencies about the shooting.

Iowa Sergeant Sues Man Who Choked Him

Sgt. Brian Krei filed a lawsuit in mid-December against 21-year-old Branden Plummer, who was sentenced to 60 days in jail on Nov. 2. Plummer pleaded guilty in September to willful injury and interference with official acts inflicting bodily injury.
