Two former Philadelphia Police officers have pleaded guilty to a heroin conspiracy involving their plan to rob a dealer, and then distribute the drug to another person they believed to be a dealer and money launderer but who was an undercover officer.

Frankfort (Ky.) Police Officer Byron Redmon pulled over a truck driven by Russell Wheat, who put the truck in reverse while talking with Officer Redmon. The officer kept up with the truck, before being dragged when Wheat pulled the truck forward.

Officer Killed Conducting Traffic Stop Along Long Island Expressway

Officer Michael J. Califano, 44, was sitting in his cruiser while writing a summons for the driver of a box truck he had pulled over, when he was struck by a flatbed truck. The collision pushed his cruiser under the box truck, and the flatbed ended up on his roof.
