A drug and weapons arrest in Jersey City, N.J., took a turn for the dramatic Thursday night when a man slipped out of handcuffs and led police on a foot chase through the streets, authorities said.
<p>Police say Alton Nolen beheaded a woman at an Oklahoma food processing company right after being fired. He is reportedly a Muslim convert.</p>

A fired employee at a Moore, Okla., food processing plant beheaded one former co-worker and attacked another early Friday. The attacker was shot and wounded by a reserve Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy who works at the plant.

Louisiana Deputy Killed by Fellow Officers During Domestic Dispute

At 50, Lt. Nolan Anderson of LaPlace, La., had spent half his life as a member of the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office. Now, the Louisiana State Police is attempting to piece together the tragic series of events that led the 25-year veteran -- on duty and in uniform at the time -- to be shot and killed by colleagues after authorities say he opened fire on deputies who were responding to reports of a domestic dispute between Anderson and his wife Wednesday afternoon.
