Task Force Charges 26 In New Haven Cocaine Ring

A multi-agency task force arrested 15 people suspected of running a cocaine ring in New Haven, Conn., area. A federal grand jury returned a superseding indictment charging 26 individuals with narcotics trafficking offenses.

St. Louis Officer Disarmed, Shot With Own Gun

The officer arrived at the 5200 block of St. Louis Avenue at about 1 a.m. Tuesday to find a man who had been stabbed. The officer entered the home and chased the suspect, who was able to wrestle the officer's gun away from him and fire one shot at him.

Salvatore Rivieri, a 19-year veteran, was fired in August amid public outcry over the incident. Officer Rivieri is seen pushing the 14-year-old and berating him. The officer had instructed the teens that they could not ride their skateboards in the area.
