Heavily Armed Fugitive Sibling Trio Fired on Officer, Robbed Ga. Bank

Two brothers and their older sister may be hiding in Tennessee, after firing at a Florida police officer and robbing a bank in Georgia. The incident began the morning of Aug. 2, when Zephyrhills (Fla.) Police Officer Kevin Widner attempted to pull over a white Subaru Impreza occupied by the Dougherty siblings.

After Keith Lavery left his house, he joined with a Copley Township PD officer who he described as a "battle buddy." He was asked if he feels like a hero. "I don't feel like a hero," he said. "I feel like what I did was necessary to do, and I would do it again."

Student Dies After Campus Officer Uses TASER

Campus officers investigating a reported assault on Aug. 6 were confronted by Everette Howard, who had reportedly balled his fists and refused to back off. An officer then shot him once with a TASER.
