Prostitution: Getting Girls Out of "The Game"

Prostitution is, as they say, the oldest profession. But now gangs are getting in on the action in a big way. Their already established tricks for luring lonely kids into their ranks are also extremely effective in recruiting girls as young as 12 for the sex trade.

LPR Under Fire

Many state legislators are listening to the ACLU and others who want to rein in LPR operations. New Hampshire already bans the use of the technology except at toll stations, and other states are considering legislation that to some degree would change the way agencies use LPR.

Taking Down Tsarnaev

Last April 19, Revere, Mass., Police Chief Joseph Cafarelli was leading the North Metro SWAT team as it participated in a massive manhunt. Police Product Test: Forum Industries Patrol Jacket

Forum Industries is doing some wonderful things with Gore fabrics and its latest line of protective duty clothing is nothing short of impressive. My example was the company's R521 Windstopper Patrol Soft Shell in the "IKE," or above-the-belt cut.

Police Product Test: Tactical Impulse LE-1 Flashlight Kit

So what's so special? It's not so much the light itself, but the LE-1's system of accessories Tactical Impulse has designed to go with it that make this a true light "multi-tool."
