Westward Industries' 100% Electric GO-4EV is now available for parking enforcement, light patrol, and campus security. The GO-4EV has a very similar overall feel to the GO-4 gas version currently operated by many fleet departments in the U.S., but it's fully electric with zero emissions.

S&W Delivers New Sidearms to West Virginia State Police and Wyoming Highway Patrol
The West Virginia State Police selected the S&W Model 4566 TSW pistol and has received 750 pistols chambered in .45 ACP. The Wyoming Highway Patrol selected the S&W M&P40 pistol and is currently in the process of transitioning its officers over to the sidearm.

West Virginia Man Accused of Battery on Officer and K-9 Partner
According to the Cabell County (WV) Sheriff's Office, a 33-year-old man is accused of battery on an officer after an altercation with an officer and his K-9 on Thursday. Bradley Allen Moore has been charged with two counts of battery on an officer and obstruction.

Seattle PD's Assistant Chief Jim Pugel apologized for appearing in a 1986 police training video mocking homlessness. Law enforcement software is now available for PDAs that can give you license plate information in 15 seconds while you are standing on the side of the road in the rain. There are even systems that will prioritize what they display first when you run a subject's operator's license so that they will show you that the driver is wanted for assault on a peace officer in another county before they show you his address.
