Muth Mirror Systems has developed Signal mirrors to retrofit the 2006 Dodge Charger. Signal mirrors for the Charger can display either traditional red LEDs or the newer amber LEDs. The turn indicator activates the flashing chevron through-the-glass of the corresponding signal mirror to alert drivers in the “blind spots.”

FIRE Panel Vehicle Fuel Tank Shield

To prevent explosions that can result from vehicle collisions that rupture fuel tanks, Scottsdale, Ariz.-based FIRE Panel LLC designed a protective shield containing a powdered fire-extinguishing agent, which is mounted on or near a vehicle’s fuel tank. The panel is molded from General Electric’s Noryl resin, allowing the shield to shatter upon significant impact yet maintain its integrity under normal conditions.
