Video: 73-Year-Old Oklahoma Reserve Deputy Accidentally Shoots, Kills Suspect
The Tulsa County (Okla.) Sheriff's Officer has released a video of an incident in which a 73-year-old reserve deputy shot and killed a suspect April 2 during an undercover operation. The reserve deputy has told investigators he believed he was holding a Taser, not a gun, when the shooting occurred.

Oklahoma County Sheriff Deploys HD Surveillance System at Prison
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) has deployed Avigilon's high definition (HD) surveillance system at its 268,000 square-foot detention center, a move designed to save the agency more than $10 million annually in personnel costs and will reduce the incidents of false liability claims.

It’s the cop who stays an hour longer than he’d planned…It’s the patrolman who swaps shifts to get a day off…It’s the trooper who decides to make just one more t-stop before calling it a day who ends up having a really bad shift.

Shots Fired: Tulsa, Okla., The Alley
Tulsa K-9 Officer Steve Downie was summononed to a dark alley about a mile from a fast-food restaurant that had been robbed on June 10, 1996. Officer Downie and Officer Dick Hobson began searching the alley on foot, when muzzle blasts lighted up the area. Suspect Steven Williams, 21, had engaged officers with a shotgun, firing from a darkened corner in front of a steel plate (visible on the right).
