Every driver speeds now and again, especially on heavily trafficked thoroughfares. A reminder in the form of a temporary radar sign displaying the driver's speed may be all that's needed to bring down vehicles' speedometer readings.

The commercial enforcement officers of the Torrance (Calif.) Police Department mostly encounter violators operating mid-sized commercial vehicles with violations such as a pile of unsecured palettes, a 20-foot palm tree clipping electrical line, and a driver using a bungee cord for a seat belt.
