Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Achieves 43% Reduction in Lethal Force with TigerLight
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has responded to the outcry for more effective non-lethal means of subduing violent subjects without jeopardizing the safety of its deputies. It has tested the use of TigerLight flashlight/OC spray units and results have been positive.

Now in use by the U.S. Air Force, Tigerlight is a flashlight that can also be used to deploy pepper spray. With Tigerlight, an officer has immediate access to pepper spray while a suspect only sees a flashlight. This combination tool also leaves an officer’s other hand free to grab his gun if necessary.
