Instrument Technology, Inc. Under-Door Scope

May 1, 2006
ITI’s new version of its under-door scope features an improved design. It slides easily under doors in less than a quarter of an inch of space. New optics with enhanced low-light capability eliminates the need for night vision devices. A three-way attachment allows operators to see left, right, and 90 degrees upward for maximum viewing capacity of the entire room. A highly sensitive, low-noise microphone is optional for audio surveillance.

Ever wished your department had a Predator unmanned aerial vehicle? Well, you probably can’t afford one. However, you can have a UAV. AeroVironment’s Raven is a hand-launched propeller-driven glider that can send live color video back to a ground-based monitor. It’s controlled just like a radio-controlled airplane. Law enforcement applications include surveillance, search and rescue, and other outdoor operations.
