TacView Pole Camera

The TacView 1400 was developed to address officers’ surveillance needs with a safe solution. TacView is a micro camera with 24 infrared diodes attached to a telescopic pole. The TacView 1400 extends to 5.5 feet, can capture images in light or dark, and has a detachable camera head that can clip to a shield for surveillance when behind cover.

Remington Technologies Eye Ball R1 Surveillance System

Remington Technologies Division has just released a very unusual tactical video system. Called the Eye Ball R1, the system consists of a 360-degree video camera encased in a hard plastic ball that can be rolled or thrown into hostile environments, even through windows. The Eye Ball can capture video and audio information and send it to a display up to 200 feet away. When attached to a wire or a poll, the Eye Ball can be used to search basements, attics, and stairwells.

Fujinon Zoom Lenses

Fujinon’s new series of high-performance zoom lenses is designed specifically for security and surveillance. The new 60x zoom lens has a focal range of 12.5mm to 1,500mm. Included in the series is the new D60x12.5, which features iris override, day/night capability, and a variety of control methods from conventional CCTV control to RS232C serial control. The C22x23 is a sister model of the C22x17, with a longer focal length and enhanced feature set.
