Chrysler Offers Dodge Durango Special Service for Police

Chrysler began offering its Dodge Durango Special Serivce SUV to law enforcement agencies, following through on a prototype the automaker brought to Michigan State Police vehicle testing in September. The automaker has begun taking orders and expects to deliver vehicles to agencies by July 1.

Chrysler Introduces Dodge Ram Police Truck for 2012

Chrysler will begin offering a special-service version of its 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab for police, fire or other emergency responders this month, the automaker announced. The police version of the four-wheel-drive Ram features 100,000-mile sparkplugs and a larger oil cooler to protect the engine during the unforgiving stop-and-go operations.
