I will never forget the first time I heard myself snore. Yeah, I snore pretty good; just ask one of my ex’s or one of my sergeants. But I actually was so tired once my own snoring woke me up! I was working on the Coconino Hotshots fighting a forest fire near Prescott, Ariz., when our squad leader called a break. I just sat where I was on the line and, the next thing I knew, loud snoring awoke me. I looked around and I was the only one within earshot…weird.

Chicago Cops Involved In Shootings Get 24-Hour Cooling-Off Period
The Fraternal Order of Police's Lodge 7 won the cooling-off period from an arbitrator, the union has announced. The officer involved in a shooting will now have at least 24 hours to make a statement to the Independent Police Review Association (IPRA).

DNA Match Ensnares 'Grim Sleeper' Serial Killer In Los Angeles
Franklin is thought to be the "Grim Sleeper" killer who began killing women in 1985. The deaths have been linked via DNA collected from the bodies of the women, who were sexually assaulted and often left for dead in alleys and covered in debris with gunshot wounds to the chest from a small-caliber gun.
