Free Eye Exams to be Available to K-9s in May
This May, more than 7,500 service and working animals will receive free sight-saving eye exams in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. The annual ACVO/StokesRx National Service Animal Eye Exam event was created as a national platform to address eye health, which is critical for the safety of the animals and their handlers.

N.C. Police Find Gator, Caiman at Hotel
Authorities trying to serve an arrest warrant at a motel instead found some sharp-toothed guests. U.S. marshals and High Point police found a 3-foot alligator and a 3-foot caiman — similar to an alligator — in a fish tank at a Red Roof Inn in Greensboro. They didn't, however, find the suspect they had sought.

Wild Animals Escape In Ohio
About 48 wild animals including Bengal tigers, grizzly bears, and wolves escaped from an Ohio man's 46-acre farm. Muskingum County (Ohio) Sheriff's deputies arrived on-scene to shoot and kill the animals. Watch Sheriff Matt Lutz's media briefing about the incident.
