Shelburne (Vt.) Police say a man thinking he was breaking into a school, broke into the police station Thursday night. The incident happened just before midnight. Â John Dettor, 59, of Washington, D.C., was located and arrested for unlawful mischief. Dettor told police that he wanted a warm place to stay. More Here.

Video: California Firefighters Rescue Rookie Officer Trapped in Back of Squad
Firefighters with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District were called to assist an officer with the Antioch Police Department who was inadvertently locked in the back of a police car. The incident occurred during a training exercise where officers were to respond to a school campus.
