Savage Range Systems’ new Dry Snail Bullet Trap features the patent-pending Savage Air Barrier System (ABS). This “closed loop system” uses “positive pressure” at the throat of the trap to create an air barrier. The “air barrier” keeps spent lead particles inside the patented Deceleration Chamber.

The Check-It bullet trap is designed to ensure no live ammunition is present in a firearm before it’s stored or cleaned. It features a low-angle entrance ramp that deflects the bullet into a circular deceleration chamber. The system accommodates all calibers of handguns, shotguns, and rifles up to 3000 FPS at muzzle.
