The microprocessor and gear drive system have been redesigned for 2006. Pro SP PriorityStart from BLI international protects a patrol vehicle’s power source by disconnecting it to prevent any drain on the battery once voltage drops below 11.7 volts. The new Pro SP model has a surge “spike” protection circuit that adds additional protection to the electrical system. When the officer returns to the vehicle, he or she can simply operate the headlight switch or step on the brake pedal to cause the reconnection.
